This is adaptive scaling approach is fractal in nature and scales to any size which allows for context-driven solutions and for unique, customized Scrum implementations designed for the context of your business.

Scrum@Scale® is modular and tailors to the unique needs of your organization and ensures that anti-Scrum patterns and unnecessary overhead are not introduced into the scaling solution. This Scrum@Scale training is designed to teach how to lead and implement the Scrum@Scale framework through understanding responsibilities leadership, the Product Owners, and the teams themselves.

As a Scrum@Scale Practitioner you will:

  • Learn how to deliver twice the work in ½ the time without adding new teams
  • Create and prioritize an MetaScrum Backlog to overcome impediments to scaling
  • Understand how the Scrum Master and Product Owner roles scale
  • Enable cross team collaboration that can scale to1,000s of people
  • Be able to share and implement the Scrum@Scale™ framework
  • Understand: scale, distribution, saturation and velocity, the four dimensions required to scale Scrum throughout an organization
  • Understand how to do release planning with multiple teams
  • Learn the key indicators and metrics to measure at the Enterprise level

Your Instructors:

The Scrum@Scale® course will be led by instructors who, when not in the classroom, are actively coaching, training and transforming teams at both large and small companies.


Upon successful completion of the class, you will be given a link and instructions to complete the Scrum Inc Scrum@Scale exam in order to become a Scrum@Scale Certified Practitioner.

Radtac now have 2 certified SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Program Consultants, Darren Wilmshurst and Randal Cooper. They have demonstrated a proven knowledge in agile programs, program portfolio management, agile architecture, and leadership. As a consequence, they are now able to train leaders and teams, act as a certifying agent for SAFe Agilists and SAFe practitioners, and launch Agile Release Trains as part of an enterprise Lean/Agile change initiative.

During this experience, participants will undergo a process of letting go of existing behaviours that block their abilities to be an effective leader. They will explore models of culture and receive a playbook to guide the next steps on their journey of creating high performance organizations. We shift the consciousness of participants so they they become aware of the root challenges and are able to discover lasting solutions.

Course Outline


  • Pre-requisites: You are expected to have basic knowledge of Agile. This may have come to you through industry experience, reading, meetups or formal training. This course is designed for anyone seeking to foster a more “agile” high-performance organization. It is accessible and essential for leaders in innovation, lean, human resources, etc. – not just Agile.
  • Course Pre-learning: Participants are expected to complete 2 hours of videos and readings in advance of the training. Then there is more time to focus on discussion and exploration. The reading guide will be shared with participants after registration.

Certification Requirement & Schedule:

  • As part of the tuition, you will receive the Certified Agile Leader 1 (CAL1) certification from the Scrum Alliance.

As there is no test, the only requirement for certification is your full participation in the class. This means that you will need to schedule any travel so it does not conflict with scheduled class time. Late arrivals and early departures are not advised as it will interfere with creating a safe learning environment for others and will make certification discretionary.
